Revivre Terms of Service

1. Overview
This website and store are operated by Revivre in Australia. By consigning with us, purchasing from us, or visiting our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. These Terms apply to all users, including consignors, buyers, and visitors, regardless of location.
2. Consignment Earnings
Consignors receive a percentage of the final sale price according to the following tiers:
• 50% – items sold for up to $1,500
• 60% – items sold for $1,501 – $4,999
• 70% – items sold for $5,000 – $9,999
• 80% – items sold for $10,000 – $19,999
• 85% – items sold for $20,000 and above
The amount displayed on your consignment receipt is your current estimated payout based on the listed sale price.
Final payout is calculated on the actual sale price achieved and may increase or decrease depending on negotiations, promotions, discounts, or other pricing adjustments.
3. Pricing, Negotiation & Reductions
Final pricing is determined by Revivre at its sole discretion, taking into account market conditions, brand demand, age, condition, seasonality, and comparable sales.
To maximise the likelihood of a successful sale:
• A negotiation margin of up to 10% may be applied during the first 60 days of consignment.
• During the final 30 days of consignment (days 61–90), items may be moved into Revivre's "Last Chance" collection and may be reduced by up to 20% without further approval from the consignor.
• Revivre reserves the right to include consigned items in sales events, promotional campaigns, marketing initiatives, loyalty offers, discount codes, and other sales activities.
• Any reduction in sale price will be reflected proportionally in the consignor's payout.
Where applicable, GST is included in the customer-facing sale price. GST is absorbed by Revivre and does not affect consignor payouts.
International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by their destination country.
4. Consignment Period & Unsold Items
All items are consigned for a minimum period of 90 days.
At the conclusion of the consignment period, Revivre will notify the consignor via email.
Unsold items may then be:
• Collected by the consignor; or
• Donated to a charity supported by Revivre.
Items not collected within 14 days of notification may be donated at Revivre's discretion.
Revivre will make reasonable efforts to contact the consignor using the contact details provided before donating any uncollected items.
Storage space is limited and consignors are responsible for arranging prompt collection of unsold items.
5. Early Withdrawal of Consigned Items
Consignors may request the return of their item(s) before the completion of the 90-day consignment period.
Where an item is withdrawn during the first 60 days into consignment, Revivre reserves the right to charge a cost recovery fee to offset expenses already incurred, including:
• Market research and pricing analysis
• Photography and content creation
• Website listing and administration
• Social media marketing
• Advertising expenditure
• Client communications and sales efforts
• Staff time and handling
Recovery fees are as follows:
• Up to $1,500 sale value – $75
• $1,501 – $4,999 sale value – $150
• $5,000 – $9,999 sale value – $250
• $10,000 – $19,999 sale value – $400
• $20,000 and above – $600
Any applicable authentication, cleaning, restoration, or preparation fees remain payable in addition to the recovery fee.
The recovery fee is not a penalty and represents a genuine estimate of costs incurred by Revivre in preparing, marketing and administering the consignment.
6. Authentication Requirements & Fees
All eligible luxury handbags, leather goods, and accessories must undergo a compliant authentication prior to sale.
Authentication is performed through Entrupy or another authentication provider selected by Revivre.
Items requiring authentication cannot be listed or sold until authentication has been completed.
Authentication fees are deducted from the consignor's final payout as follows:
• Standard luxury handbags and leather goods – $50
• Chanel handbags and leather goods – $80
• Hermès handbags and leather goods – $240
Where an authenticated item is withdrawn, collected, or removed from consignment before sale or before the end of the consignment period, the authentication fee remains payable.
The consignor will receive the applicable digital authentication certificate and/or physical authentication card where available.
Counterfeit items will be returned immediately and may be reported where required by law.
7. Cleaning, Restoration & Preparation
All items submitted for consignment must be clean, odour-free, and in saleable condition.
Where cleaning, restoration, repair, or other preparation is required to bring an item to a saleable standard, Revivre may recommend or arrange these services.
Cleaning, restoration, and preparation costs are the responsibility of the consignor.
Revivre will obtain the consignor's approval prior to arranging any cleaning or restoration service that incurs a charge.
Any required cleaning or restoration fees must be paid before the item is listed for sale.
Revivre reserves the right to decline or return any item that does not meet its presentation standards.
8. Marketing & Promotional Activities
By consigning with Revivre, consignors grant Revivre permission to photograph, film, advertise, promote, and feature consigned items across:
• Revivre's website
• Social media channels
• Email marketing campaigns
• Paid advertising platforms
• Print and digital marketing materials
• Third-party sales channels
This permission remains in effect for the duration of the consignment period.
9. Payments
Consignor Payments
Vendor payouts are processed every 21 business days.
Payments cover sales completed during the preceding payment period.
Payments are made via the consignor's nominated payment method.
For international consignors, bank fees, currency conversion fees, and transfer charges are the responsibility of the consignor.
Email confirmation will be provided with each payout.
Buyer Payments
Revivre accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Afterpay, and other approved payment methods.
All payments are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
10. Purchases – No Returns, Refunds or Exchanges
All sales are final.
Revivre does not offer returns, refunds, exchanges, store credits, or change-of-mind cancellations.
Items are sold in the condition described at the time of purchase.
Responsibility for care, ownership, and handling passes to the buyer upon purchase.
11. International Shipping
Revivre ships worldwide from Sydney, Australia.
International buyers are responsible for:
• Customs duties
• Import taxes
• Local government charges
• Customs clearance fees
These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping charges.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by customs processing and carrier delays.
12. Liability for Consigned Items
Revivre exercises reasonable care in handling consigned items.
However, Revivre is not liable for:
• Normal wear and tear
• Age-related deterioration
• Material defects
• Colour transfer
• Manufacturing faults
• Damage caused by shipping carriers
• Events outside Revivre's reasonable control
Consignors acknowledge that pre-owned luxury goods may naturally age during the consignment process.
13. Website Use & Store Terms
Users must not misuse the website, introduce harmful code, engage in fraudulent conduct, or breach any applicable laws.
Revivre reserves the right to refuse service, remove listings, cancel orders, or terminate accounts at its discretion.
14. Third-Party Links & Services
Revivre may utilise third-party services including Shopify, payment gateways, shipping providers, authentication providers, and marketing platforms.
Revivre is not responsible for the content, services, or policies of third-party providers.
Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
15. User Submissions
Any reviews, comments, testimonials, photographs, feedback, suggestions, or other content submitted to Revivre may be used, edited, reproduced, published, or distributed by Revivre without compensation.
Revivre is under no obligation to keep submissions confidential.
16. Errors, Inaccuracies & Omissions
Occasionally there may be errors relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, availability, or other information.
Revivre reserves the right to correct errors and update information without prior notice.
17. Intellectual Property
All content, photography, branding, logos, descriptions, graphics, and website materials are the property of Revivre and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
18. Accounts & Security
Where accounts are created, including the Consignor Portal, users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and all activity conducted under their account.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Revivre shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of its services, website, products, or consignment activities.
20. Authenticity Representations by Consignor
The consignor warrants that all items submitted for consignment are authentic and that all information provided regarding ownership, provenance, purchase history, condition, and authenticity is accurate to the best of their knowledge.
The consignor agrees to indemnify Revivre against any loss, claim, liability, cost, or expense arising from inaccurate information supplied by the consignor or from the submission of counterfeit, stolen, or unlawfully obtained goods.
21. Abandoned Property
Where a consignor fails to respond to repeated communications regarding collection, payment details, or ownership instructions for a period exceeding 90 days, Revivre may treat the item as abandoned property and may donate, dispose of, or otherwise deal with the item at its discretion without further liability.
22. Changes to Terms
Revivre reserves the right to update, amend, or modify these Terms of Service at any time.
Updated Terms become effective immediately upon publication on the Revivre website.
Continued use of Revivre's services constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
23. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between Revivre and its users and supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or communications relating to the services provided.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
